Victory for German track bike pursuer Kröger

Glasgow (dpa) – The German track cyclists pursued the Nations Cup in Glasgow after the success with the team in the individual competition for the second success of the Federation of German Cyclists.

In a German final, Bielefeld’s Mieke Kröger (3:25.354 minutes) defeated Franziska Brauße from Eningen (3:25.471) in the 3,000 meter pursuit by a hair’s breadth.

Kröger had won bronze in this discipline in 2021, Brausse silver. Both drivers are also part of the team of four that won gold at the 2021 Olympic Games and at the World and European Championships.
