On his X account, the tweeteror Santino Dezzotti posted a video of Patricia Bullrich confusing the Chamber in the plenary session of the Labor and Budget committees of the Senate. The user supported the edited version that he uploaded to the networks with a forceful “she’s gagá. And this was the one who was going to manage Villarruel!!!”.
In the recording, the former Minister of Security refers to the Corrientes Eduardo Vischi as a “deputy”, even though he is a senator. “Bitch who gave birth to him with this, it never comes out, skinny! Villarruel herself made the post visible by retweeting the message, but avoiding any reference to the video and the accusation to the Buenos Aires senator, she highlighted: “How great your cover photo!!! This exchange of tweets is another episode of the cold war between both officials, who share the same political space. The relationship between Villarruel and Bullrichhas become one of the most visible political insiders within the ruling party of Freedom Advancesmarked by open tensions and public clashes that show profound differences in support for the government’s agenda.
In July 2025, the then minister harshly criticized the president of the Senate for not interrupting a session promoted by the opposition to discuss projects that complicated the legislative strategy of the Executive, accusing her of being “complicit in destructive Kirchnerism” and of “denigrating the institution” that she presides, in a harsh message posted on social networks. The vice president responded by defending her actions under the Constitution and the Senate regulations, arguing that her duty was to guarantee the independence of the body.
With Bullrich’s victory in the mid-term legislative elections, the leader landed in the Upper House. On Friday, November 14, one month before assuming the new legislative position, Bullrich was invited to the vice president’s office in the Senate.
