The current fashion designer Victoria Beckham, 48, who rose to fame from the Spice Girls group, recalled a humiliating situation from the 1990s in Vogue Australia magazine. Beckham took part in the live broadcast of the TFI Friday talk show, where he was forced to get on the scale for a weigh-in.

Beckham had given birth to her son Brooklyn just a few months earlier. The star told the magazine that she lost a lot of weight after giving birth.

– I participated Chris Evans to the TV show years ago. I had just given birth to Brooklyn and lost a lot of weight, Beckham recalled the humiliating incident.

– The same thing happened to my mother after pregnancy. It doesn’t mean I have an eating disorder.

Beckham said Evans forced him to get on the scale.

– Can you imagine the same thing happening in modern times?

In the program, Evans asked Beckham how he had managed to lose weight after giving birth. The host then dug out a scale from under his desk and asked Beckham to step on it.

Beckham awkwardly stepped on the scale, after which Evans announced the reading to the crowd. Beckham described the incident to the magazine as disgusting.

Tähti has publicly criticized the idealization of thinness and the appearance pressures on women. She has said that, as a mother, she is satisfied that her children can grow up in a freer environment.

The Spice Girls broke up in 2001 after eight years together. All other members except Beckham later went on a solo tour.

Beckham is married to ex-footballer David Beckham. The couple married in 1999. The Beckhams have four children, Brooklyn, Romeo, Cruz and Harper.
