Victoria Beckham back with the Spice Girls | Stars

The Spice Girls will soon be back in the original line-up. The Sun reports that Emma Bunton, Melanie C, Geri Horner, Mel B and even Victoria Beckham have signed a deal for a docuseries about the girl group. The Spice Girls documentary is directed by Jason Hehir, who was also responsible for the last dance, the Emmy-winning documentary about basketball legend Michael Jordan.

“The director and the whole concept of how that documentary was shot and filmed is really, really, really good. So we’re going to make our own version with them,” Mel B said on the Australian TV show The project. She says the documentary will portray their way to the top and their enormous impact on pop culture, while also discussing never-before-told anecdotes and remarkable events. Mel B immediately gave a small example and revealed a secret behind one of the most famous songs of the Spice Girls. „The rap I for Wannabe wrote, I thought on the toilet while the other girls were singing.”

It is not yet known when the documentary will be released. Although it is not known whether there will be new music in addition to the documentary, it is not expected that Victoria will participate again in that case. The former singer recently seemed to be having a lot of fun when she grabbed the microphone to sing a Spice Girls song during a karaoke night, but wouldn’t plan on reviving her old career.
