Regensburger remains in the 2nd division
Maximilian Thalhammer remains in the 2nd Bundesliga after relegation with SSV Jahn Regensburg. The 25-year-old moves to newly promoted VfL Osnabrück on a free transfer. The 1.91 meter tall defensive midfielder played 32 games (one goal) last season.
“With Maximilian Thalhammer we have filled the sixth position after Sven Köhler’s move to Odense. He is a very strong six with a guard and the corresponding header game as well as an extraordinary understanding of the game. He has already gained a lot of experience in the 2nd division and is still at an age where he can develop further. Aside from the sporting quality, we are also looking forward to a great person who also convinced us with his personality in the discussions,” said sports director Amir Shapourzadeh.
VfL Osnabrück has signed Maximilian Thalhammer. The 25-year-old midfielder was most recently under contract with SSV Jahn Regensburg.
