With VfB Stuttgart, TSG Hoffenheim and FC Bayern, three German junior teams made it into the round of 16 of the UEFA Youth League on Tuesday. VfB prevailed 7: 5 after penalties against Liverpool FC in a penalty shootout. After the regular season it was 2-2. The Swabians had run 2-0 early on by goals by Eliot Bujupi (8th) and Efe Korkut (19th).
Hoffenheim had little effort in the 5-1 against Shakhtar Donetsk. For the Kraichgauer, Diren Dağdeviren (5th), Melvin Onos (44.), Florian Micheler (55.) and Jamie Schanging (82nd, 90th+4) by double pack. Onos, Micheler and elections each met after a penalty whistle. According to yellow-red for Shakhtars Yaroslav Mylokost, the TSG had been outnumbered since the 41st minute.
