VfB Stuttgart | Superstar Guirassy traded in Italy

Serhou Guirassy is shaking up the Bundesliga with VfB Stuttgart. After his rocket start to the new season, the Swabians’ attacker has probably also attracted the attention of the international competition. Is a career move already in the offing this winter?

Ten goals in the first five Bundesliga games: Serhou Guirassy is the man of the hour. The 27-year-old is clearly leading the top scorers list after five match days, ahead of Harry Kane from FC Bayern and Victor Boniface from Bayer Leverkusen. Kane has already scored seven times for Munich in the German upper house, Boniface has six goals.

As the Italian sports newspaper “Gazzetta dello Sport” now reports, Guirassy and Boniface have now become the focus of three top Italian clubs. Serie A record champions Juventus Turin are keeping an eye on the development of the two attackers, as are Inter and AC Milan.

VfB Stuttgart initially loaned Serhou Guirassy, who was under contract with 1. FC Köln between 2016 and 2019, from Ligue 1 representative Stade Rennes in the summer of 2022. After staying in the league, the Swabians decided to sign the center forward for nine million euros – a decision that paid off.

VfB also gave the striker a contract until 2026.

Bayer striker Boniface is making an impact in the Bundesliga

Victor Boniface is tied to Bayer Leverkusen for two more years, i.e. until 2028. The Nigerian is one of the big shooting stars of the new Bundesliga season.

The 22-year-old has scored eight times in seven competitive games for head coach Xabi Alonso’s team – the 1.89 meter tall striker has become an integral part of the team.

Bayer Leverkusen even paid over 20 million euros to the Belgian club Union Saint-Gilloise for Boniface in the summer.
