VfB Stuttgart | Sosa exit safe? The Swabians are hoping for this transfer fee

Borna Sosa is still considered the silverware of the relegation-threatened Bundesliga club VfB Stuttgart. If the full-back convinces with the Croatian national team at the upcoming World Cup in Qatar, the Swabians can expect high transfer proceeds in the winter changeover period.

The 24-year-old is considered a safe candidate for sale at VfB, who urgently needs to generate transfer income in his tight financial situation. In the case of the left foot, who is strong in running and speed, the squad planners around sports director Sven Mislintat are hoping for income of up to 25 million euros.

At least that’s what I want “Sky” transfer expert Florian Plettenberg have experienced. Should Borna Sosa, as expected, appear in the international showcase at the World Cup, the Stuttgart team hope for such a high transfer fee for their currently most valuable player.

In any case, it should be 15 million euros for the Zagreb native, who still has an ongoing contract in the country until 2025.

Top clubs interested in VfB star Sosa

Where Sosa could move next January is still largely unknown. In the past, however, he has been associated with top international clubs such as Inter Milan, FC Bayern and Manchester City.

According to the media report, the fact that the left-back is moving away from Stuttgart has long been an open secret.

Despite his mostly appealing performances on the left flank, Sosa was unable to prevent the Swabians’ renewed crisis in results this season. The Croatian made eleven appearances for Stuttgart in the Bundesliga and, as is well known, has only celebrated two victories with his team.

Sosa is considered one of the best crossers in the entire league and has already scored four goals again this season.
