VfB Stuttgart has strengthened its offensive for the mission of staying up in the Bundesliga.
Like the Table-17. announced on Sunday evening that the Portuguese U21 international Tiago Tomas will join VfB from Sporting Lisbon. First, Stuttgart is loaning the 19-year-old striker until the summer of 2023, after which there is a purchase option.
Tomas will make VfB “more variable in attack,” said sporting director Sven Mislintat: “Tiago won the Portuguese championship with Sporting last season and recently won the league cup. He also played in the Champions League and proved his qualities there too placed.”
