U -turn at VfB Stuttgart: The former sales candidate Josha Vagnoman remains – and even extended his contract prematurely.
As the Swabians announced, the new contract of the 24 -year -old full -back runs until June 30, 2028. The old working paper was dated until the coming summer.
“Josha has taken a special way with VfB in recent years, which led us together from the relegation to the runner-up to the DFB Cup victory,” said VfB sports director Fabian Wohlgemuth.
The Stuttgart manager added to Josha Vagnoman: “In addition to his traditional position on the right outer lane, he can also be used on the left, which makes him a valuable part of our squad in addition to his football skills. We are glad that we were able to communicate with Josha for a contract extension and the continuation of our cooperation.”

“I feel very comfortable in the team and in the entire club and am proud of our way that we have already gone together,” said Vagnoman. “At the same time, this is a great incentive for me to continue to be successful with VfB in the future. So I am happy to have extended my contract prematurely. It is very positive how the fans push us. It is all the more beautiful if we can give something back with our services.”

Vagnoman switched from Hamburger SV to VfB in 2022. In the jersey with the red breast ring, he is at 88 competitive games. He also already played an A-international game.
Vagnoman had repeatedly ranked rumors in the past few months. Among other things, there should have been interest from the English Premier League. Since mid -August, however, his whereabouts have been indicated, which is now official.
