VfB Stuttgart is worried about Borna Sosa before the game in Bielefeld

Stuttgart (dpa) – Borna Sosa threatens to fail the Bundesliga club VfB Stuttgart, which is threatened with relegation, in the trend-setting game at Arminia Bielefeld.

The left-back complains of adductor problems, said coach Pellegrino Matarazzo, two days before the away game on Saturday (3:30 p.m. / Sky). Sosa was away with the Croatian national team during the international break but did not play there.

Hiroki Ito has returned to team training after surviving the corona infection. It looks worse for Philipp Förster. He signed off because of an illness. However, the midfielder could be back on the pitch on Friday. Daniel Didavi is not an option due to problems with his Achilles tendon and Lilian Egloff and Mohamed Sankoh will also be missing.

Nevertheless, after seven points from the last three games, Matarazzo goes into the duel with the penultimate table with a good feeling. Only one point separates both teams. “We have to be vigilant and take risks at the right moment,” said Matarazzo. “We haven’t achieved anything yet, but I feel a good energy. If we perform well, we’ll have a winning team.”
