VF Corporation appoints Andreas Olsson as General Manager EMEA of Vans

The US clothing group VF Corporation fills a management position in the EMEA region.

Andreas Olsson has been appointed to the role of Vice President, General Manager EMEA for the Vans brand, the Vans parent company announced on Wednesday. In his new role, effective July 17, he will report to Kevin Bailey, Global Brand President Vans and Martino Scabbia Guerrini, VF Executive Vice President, President EMEA, APAC & Emerging Brands.

Olsson, who previously held the role of Vice President of Sales Vans EMEA, is now succeeding Michel Bilodeau. The company announced that he is relocating to his native Canada and taking his next career step at VF as Vice President, Sales & Marketplace, Vans Americas. Michel Bilodeau worked for Vans in EMEA for four years.

“Both Michel and Andreas are great leaders with innovative thinking in the market and a performance-driven and purposeful experience across the VF brand portfolio, including Vans,” said Scabbia Guerrini. “These appointments are a testament to their success and will continue to strengthen the execution of the brand and organization both in the region and globally.”

Olsson has worked in various roles and for various brands within VF Corporation for a total of 13 years. In 2021 he was appointed European Head of VF subsidiary Dickies, but returned in April as Vice President Sales. The manager previously held various positions for the skate brand from 2012 to late 2018 before becoming Director of Group Digital Accounts for all VF brands between 2019 and 2021.

“I’m grateful for this opportunity to rejoin Vans,” said Olsson. “It is an honor to lead the regional business of a brand that is widely recognized as one of the original action sports brands and a global icon of creative exploration.”
