The search for 68-year-old Jonathan Sheldrick continues today by the Veterans Search Team. Sheldrick was last seen on Sunday at recreation park De Bloemert in Midlaren. Nothing has been heard from the man since then.
The police searched the area yesterday with sniffer dogs, without results. The police also deployed a boat to search the Zuidlaardermeer. A police helicopter has also been deployed.
Sheldrick may have left on foot in an unknown direction on Sunday. He can be recognized by gray hair and wears an orange jacket, burgundy-colored sweater, gray pants and brown mountain boots.
