Journalist-writer Tuomas Marjamäki interviewed Vesa-Matti Loiria 25 times in 20 years. The interviews were recorded and the recordings have remained in Marjamäki’s own archive until now. Marjamäki used the interview material in Loir’s biography Among acquaintances Vesku (Docendo)which came out in March.

But the audience has not been able to hear the interviews themselves until now.
The new podcast LOIRI & Marjamäki starts as a July series in Iltalehti’s Plus service, where Loiri’s entire life story is reviewed. In addition to the biographer Marjamäki, Loiri himself can be heard, because in all the episodes you can hear a lot of clips from old interviews, in which Loiri talks about his personal ups and downs in his own voice.
