A wild game develops between Bavaria and Hoffenheim. The Munich women still compensate in the first half – but Giulia Gwinn is bad.

The first half of the women’s DFB Cup semi-finals between FC Bayern and TSG Hoffenheim had it all: the Munich women caught up a 0-2 deficit, made it 2-2 before the break.

Bayern star Giulia Gwinn was still dissatisfied during the half-time break-but not with the performance of her teammates. The 25-year-old, who could not play because of a lower leg injury, was disappointed with the presence in the stands in the Bavaria campus.

Because there was nobody from the club tour of the German record champion. Neither sports director Max Eberl nor CEO Jan-Christian Dreesen, President Herbert Hainer or other Bayern makers sat during the game.

“It’s a bit of a shame,” said Gwinn in the half -time interview at Sky. “It is one of the biggest games when you look at all the competitions, we are great in the league, there is already a cup semi-final a game in which you will hop for some presence.”

Gwinn continued: The absence of the club bosses is “very, very bad. I hope that at least on TV.” After all, the visit of national coach Christian Wück is gratifying. “But of course it is nice that the national coach stops by, this is also important for all players to recommend themselves again.”

The national player hopes “that we will continue to shoot a round and that they are present in Cologne.” The first part of Gwinn’s wish was already fulfilled: Bayern won the wild game 3-2 and are in the final of the DFB Cup.
