This February 25, two figures with the same date of birth – separated by 172 years – once again marked differences on the political agenda and on Argentine social networks.

Villarruel closed the message with “A very strong hug to my dear Yapeyú” and expressed his wish that the example of the liberator “inspire many compatriots”. The post, accompanied by a historical image, exceeded 13 thousand views in a few hours.
There were no publications of similar weight by other central references of La Libertad Avanza: the president Javier Milei He made no public mentions, at least until Wednesday afternoon. The tribute to San Martín was, in fact, concentrated on the vice president.
On the Peronist/Kirchnerist side, the National Justicialist Party (@p_justicialista) was the first to speak out. At mid-morning he published a phrase Nestor Kirchner along with a photo of the former president: “Workers with dignity, with good salaries, in a factory that grows. That is the Argentina that empowers one.”
The message added hundreds of reposts and was replicated by sectional and territorial leaders. Local leaders also spoke. The PJ of Malvinas Argentinas highlighted Kirchner as “a leader who chose to govern with courage, firm convictions and the people as a priority.” Nicolás Mantegazza, mayor of San Vicente and president of the local PJ, defined him as “a leader who taught us to believe, to transform reality and to build a more just Argentina.”
