Vermeltfoort grabs just next to the win in Dorpenomloop right through Drenthe Gieten

Coen Vermeltfoort from Slantensloot was close to the hopped bang start of the cycling season. The VolkerWessels rider was the first to ride at full speed to the finish line in Gieten after the Dorpenomloop through Drenthe. But then his chain jumped on the vowels of the right gear and Roy Hoogendoorn from Boskoop ran away with the win.
