THE wedding celebrationsaccording to what the magazine reports Hola! they started on Monday 15 December with a day on a yacht organized by Serena Williams, who took care of every detail for a dozen family members and close friends. Over the next few days, the couple hosted daily pool parties in their home, welcoming a mix of American and Italian relatives: about 25 people arrived from Italy.
Tuesday was the time bridal shower on the patio, where Venus showed off one of the 12 looks planned for the event: a dress by Kim Kassas. The evening continued with Asian fusion dinneryou dance to the tunes of Beyoncé and a lip-sync battle. On Wednesday Andrea Preti surprised the guests with one Italian dinner at the Sopra club in Miami for 35 people. On Thursday, the couple dedicated the day to sports with tennis, volleyball, dodgeball and pickleball.

On Friday morning, at the crack of dawn, the couple had celebrated the wedding with a private ceremony at the courthouse. Venus wore a custom dress by Morilee New York. Preti described that moment as «unique, exciting and profound»calling it “the second most beautiful day of my life” after the wedding in Ischia. AND Saturday the highlight arrived: Venus enchanted with a sparkling dress by Georges Hobeika, chosen during Paris Fashion Week. “I wanted to wear a dress that I thought Andrea would love and that was magical and perfect for a Florida wedding,” she explained to Hola!
Andrea Preti entered the scene with his mother to the tune of I’ll Be There of the Jackson 5. Venus chose instead Wherever you will be by Irama, a song dear to her husband in memory of her grandmother who passed away during Covid. «When I heard her leave I started crying like a baby», revealed Preti. The vows were pronounced in English and Italian, and the couple’s exit followed to the tune of Signed, Sealed, Delivered by Stevie Wonder and from the first dance with I Only Have Eyes for You of the Flamingos.
The evening ended with a after-party until the early hours of the morningwith music by Sexyy Red and French Montana. Venus participated, while Andrea returned to rest with the dog.
