The houses and apartments in the Venning district are supplied with heat via a central energy system. Because a gas boiler broke down around Christmas, some families were left without hot water or heating.
“Each house and apartment was permanently provided with a base temperature of around 20 degrees. There has been a problem with the hot water supply. This was not synchronized and did not supply enough hot water. That is why we temporarily replaced the gas boiler with a fuel oil boiler,” says Karel Maddens, director of the SW Plus housing company.
