Until May 31st, seventh edition of the Venice Boat Show: previews and prototypes, with over 300 boats on display. The new Frauscher Porsche 790 Specter makes its debut, the result of the collaboration between Frauscher and Porsche brought by the Feltrinelli Nautical Shipyard. And then the Ferretti range and much more
Venice returns to being the heart of international boating. Until May 31, 2026, the majestic Arsenal of the Serenissima hosts the seventh edition of the Venice Nautical Salon, one of the most eagerly awaited events for industry professionals and sea enthusiasts. It is a total immersion in a 55,000 m2 water basin, with entry times from 10:00 to 20:00 and an extraordinary opening on the evening of Saturday 30 May until 22:00. Around 300 boats will be on display with 270 exhibitors from all over the world for an overview of the evolution of contemporary boating: from large yachts to catamarans, from dinghies to sailing boats, up to the new frontiers of electric and hybrid propulsion. The symbolic place of the centuries-old maritime dominion of the Serenissima Republic as well as the largest production complex of the pre-industrial era, where the Venetians were capable of building a sailing ship in just 24 hours, confirms itself as the ideal stage to showcase the excellence of world shipbuilding.
Spotlight on the Riviera

Among the most significant innovations this year, the Show further strengthens its commitment to sustainability, dedicating ample space to new electric, hybrid and hydrogen propulsion, with shipyards, universities and research centers presenting the new perspectives of mobility on water. Particular attention will be paid to the “Riviera”, the main quay dedicated to large yachts and the latest developments in international shipbuilding, with expected world premieres including the eleven-metre catamaran Calita by Biondi Yachtwhile at Tesa 98 Ferretti Group presents a selection of seven yachts, emblematic of the values of beauty, innovation and technology that characterize its brands.

Along the piers and in the indoor areas there is a succession of new electric and hybrid propulsion systems, hydrogen systems, solutions for energy autonomy and new generation materials, while the projects for the protection of the marine environment demonstrate that responsible boating is already a reality. At the P2 pier, in the dock area dedicated to full electric boats, a fleet debuts that recounts this transformation with great concreteness: from the Frauscher for Porsche 790 Specter to the catamaran SunKiss zero impact, up to Boatee’s electric outboard, supported by Seabin, the system that intercepts microplastics directly in ports, a small but symbolic example of how the sector is changing its approach to the sea. On the hybrid front, the Greenline 42 arrives in Italian preview Greenline Yachts: fully electric navigation up to 6.5 knots, ten solar panels of 430 W each and a Hybrid Ready philosophy designed to reduce consumption and emissions over time. Sustainability also passes through sailing, with a massive presence of the main international shipyards, from Solaris to Grand Soleil, from Beneteau to Lagoon, Bavaria, Jeanneau and Baliand with new realities emerging from Northern Europe that bring fresh ideas and alternative design approaches. A novelty that is striking for its technological audacity is the Anahid prototype, exhibited in the small dry dock under Lorenzo Quinn’s monumental installation Building Bridges: it is the first underwater robotic system developed by Geico for cleaning and sterilizing hulls without the need to lift a boat out of the water. It is an advanced platform that integrates artificial intelligence and robotics to operate directly in water, keeping fleets fully efficient even in complex environments such as lagoons, while reducing consumption, emissions and environmental impact.
Porsche in the foreground

Il Cantiere at the Venice Boat Show Feltrinelli exhibits the new Frauscher 790 Spectre, a sports boat that speaks the language of the Stuttgart Horse developed around the electric propulsion system of the Porsche Macan. The new vessel is equipped with 800 volt architecture, 100 kWh battery and 400 kW electric motor. A Porsche that speeds across the water in all its elegance, and which writes a new chapter in the history of the collaboration between the Austrian shipyard (of which Cantiere Nautico Feltrinelli is the exclusive importer for Italy) and Porsche. With a length of 7.97 meters and a completely redesigned hull, the 790 Specter brings not only technology to the water but also Porsche design features in the interior finishes and in many details. As with sports Porsches, customization also plays a central role on Frauschers and this is immediately evident in the exclusive Darkteal Metallic paintwork, shared by boats and SUVs. The color comes from the program paint to samplewhich expands Porsche’s range of highly customized exterior colours, also available for the new 790 Spectre: customers can have the desired color applied directly on site with an 11-layer finish. The interiors also continue the dialogue of mutual references. And with the Specter line, a new design platform by Frauscher is also inaugurated: a completely redesigned, lighter, more compact and efficient hull, designed to enhance high-performance electric and thermal propulsion.
