Vaasa Palloseura had a big mountain to climb when they went to Valkeakoski Tehtaan Kentä three goals behind Haka. The second leg, which started in sunny weather, remained exciting until the end, but the home team maintained its lead until the end, losing only 1–2.

Haka won the Euro final tournament with a total of 4–2 and as a reward it gets a place in the Conference League qualifiers. Euro matches have not been played at Tehtaan Kentä for 15 years.

On a beautiful autumn evening, Hakan Kotiyleisö sent special thanks to the Scottish striker Lee to Erwin, who won the Veikkausliiga goal exchange with 20 goals. He scored a hat trick in the semi-final played in Vaasa, which laid the groundwork for Haka’s place in Europe.

In the Veikkausliiga, goalscorers rarely stay for the next season. We are taking Scotch to bigger stages. At least Hull City, who play in the Championship, are believed to have been interested in the 28-year-old striker.

During the match, Haka’s supporters revealed a sheet asking Erwin to stay. The striker does not have a contract for next season. It would be a huge blow if Haka could keep his goal machine in Finland.

VPS, who won the series and was predicted to be relegated, took advantage of the renewed series system almost perfectly. It rose from the 10th place after the first regular season until the gates of the European Games.
