Vehicle strike Milan 29 May: times and guarantee periods

The Cub union and other acronyms have proclaimed a national general strike for the day Friday 29 May 2026 which will also involve the staff ofATMa company that manages public transport services in Milan. Staff may abstain from work at the following times: from 8.45am to 3pm and from 6pm until the end of service. In these time slots, therefore, the service is not guaranteed. The strike was proclaimed “against the war and the increase in military spending; against exploitation at work, precariousness and the failure to adjust the salaries of workers in the public sector and the private sector; against the genocide in Palestine and the supply of weapons to Israel; against the absence of social policies starting with the housing emergency; against the repressive policies of the various “Security” decrees such as Legislative Decree 23/2026 and the previous ones of 2025; against the abuses of the Commission Guarantee, the resolutions that restrict the right to strike and the attempt to muzzle the struggles in the logistics sector (for the repeal of L.146/90 and L.83/00); against the absence of industrial policies capable of addressing the ongoing transitions;
