In his speech at the meeting, Turkish Football Federation President Mehmet Büyükekşi stated that the Super League has the potential to become one of the most valuable leagues in the world, and said, “We have a very efficient VAR technology when used effectively. The most passionate fans of the world are in Turkey. Moreover, they love this sport. very valuable brands, international organizations, are investing in Turkish football. Now I want to remind you about one of the most beautiful words of our Turkish. We hand over our cases to the judges. Our health to the doctors… Our matches to the referees. These three words are derived from the word Wisdom. The subject that comes before the judge, the doctor and the referee in cases, diseases, and matches is a unique event that has never been experienced before and has its own characteristics. to make a decision on a subject that is not repeated and has not been experienced exactly the same. We give the tact. It is important that people in this position are experienced, wise people because correct diagnoses, correct decisions come with experience and judgment. “A POSITION IN A MATCH CANNOT BE DECIDED BY LOOKING AT ANOTHER MATCH”
Noting that no two cases are the same for a judge, and that the conditions of two patients are not the same for a doctor, Büyükekşi said, “With this logic, it cannot be decided whether a position in a match is a violation or not by looking at another match. This can only be done with a correct diagnosis, education, experience and “This is a talent that will be perfected over time by taking advantage of opportunities. Noting that some referees’ performances have been highly criticized in the past 11 weeks, TFF President said, “Let me admit that I find some of these criticisms justified due to the formless performances of our referees. However, I would like it to be kept in mind that we do not have the luxury of making new mistakes when we are trying to fix some mistakes. This is where such a competition takes place. Although it is not easy during the critical weeks, I invite all our club managers, members of the media and opinion leaders to remain calm under all circumstances, to be with us, not against us, to come up with solutions in order to overcome common problems,” he said.

VAR PRESENTATION FROM MHK VICE CHAIRMAN MURAT ILGAZ
After President Mehmet Büyükekşi’s speech, MHK Deputy Chairman and VAR Officer Murat Ilgaz invited 12 referees from the VAR staff to the stage and introduced them to the participants. Ilgaz then gave information about the functioning of the VAR System, the duties of the VAR and AVAR referees, and the VAR Protocol with the positions on the screen with his presentation.
THE CLUB HEADS HAVE EXPERIENCED
Following the VAR presentation of Deputy Chairman of the Central Arbitration Committee Murat Ilgaz, club presidents, coaches and football players had the experience of VAR refereeing on live matches and prepared demos at the VAR Center. Evaluating critical positions within the framework of the VAR protocol, the participants also drew the offside lines themselves.
