On the eve of the challenge with Verona, the grenade coach asks to “push 100% against a physical team”. Zapata and Schuurs returned to Philadelphia for rehabilitation: “I hope to have them in retreat”
He always wanted a brave bull, and in the path of this second round he has always found him. Now, however, Paolo Vanoli asks for an extra effort for tomorrow’s home challenge against Verona. “Tomorrow we will have to bring out something more – says the Toro coach on the eve -, from here at the end they are all final for us but tomorrow is an important ending. We continue on our journey, looking at the game by game”. And he adds: “Tomorrow we will have to bring out something more, our people are showing us affection, we will have to push 100%. Also because we face a structured, physical team that has a direct game. We will have to be good on duels”.
Lazaro Stop
–
During the week, Vanoli lost Valentino Lazaro due to a muscle problem that emerged during Lazio-Turin. Vanoli announces: “Lazaro will not be there because of a muscle overload in the calf. For the rest they are all well”. At the beginning of the week, the injured Zapata and Schuurs returned to Philadelphia to continue their rehabilitation process in Turin. For both the appointment is in the summer retreat in South Tyrol: “The good news of the week is having resurfaced Zapata and Schuurs with us: it is nice and important to be with them, but now calm down. There is a process to be completed for both without in a hurry. I hope to get them back in retreat”, reflects Vanoli.
Gineiitis
–
The unavailability of Lazaro opens to new and possible solutions. Will Vanoli confirm the 4-2-3-1 with the insertion of Karamoh to the left and the movement of Elmas on the right? Or will he propose the midfield to three with the promotion to the titular of Gineititis? “Everyone must earn a place -says Vanoli -, surely the performance of Gineititis put the coach in difficulty”. Praise for Karamoh, “I defended him with a sword, he helped us in a very delicate moment”, and also for Sanabria: “In Rome he entered well, for us Tonny is an important player”.
