RRome, June 15. (askanews) – A chorus of bipartisan criticism against the leader of Futuro Nazionale, Roberto Vannacci, who on the sidelines of the party’s Constituent Assembly in Rome had said that feminicides do not exist.

Roberto Vannacci denies feminicides

«What are the true principles of equality? That men and women are equal and that, therefore, there is no need to protect one group at the expense of another. Accordingly, they must be subject to the same standards and rules. And there is no such thing as feminicide. Because a crime is not more or less serious based on the sex, skin color or religion of the perpetrator or victim”, says Vannacci.

The criticism of the general is bipartisan

The Democratic Party speaks of yet another infamy: former General Vannacci “apologize to the victims”. Northern League member Giulia Bongiorno also dissociates herself and adds: “I hope she doesn’t want to return to the crime of honor.” Forza Italia also took a clear stance: “The words are unworthy and offend the memory of the victims, sorry.” Condemnation of Vannacci’s statements is almost unanimous.
