A delivery van and a passenger car collided at the intersection of the Drentse Mondenweg and the Dreef near Valthermond. The van ended up in a ditch next to the road due to the collision.
The police closed both Dreef and Drentse Mondenweg due to the accident for the investigation and recovery of the vehicles. No people were reportedly injured in the accident.
Initially, the fire brigade also responded, but that turned out not to be necessary because the occupants managed to get out of the vehicles themselves.
