Van drives into living room with children

Driver seriously injured, children unharmed

The accident happened along Beversesteenweg, between Rijksweg and Hoogbeverenstraat. Due to the impact, the debris almost hit the seat in which the children were sitting. Fortunately, they escaped unscathed, but the driver is in worse condition. He was taken to hospital in a critical condition.

The fire brigade came to support the facade. A traffic expert from the public prosecutor’s office was appointed to investigate the accident.
