The 25-year-old Van Rijthoven, the global number 104, will make his debut at a grand slam tournament this week. He received a wildcard after winning the title in Rosmalen last month. Djokovic, the number 3 in the world, is ten years older and is aiming for his 21st grand slam title in total in London and his seventh at Wimbledon.
Van Rijthoven and Djokovic play the third and last match of the day on the main track. The first game starts at 2.30 pm Dutch time. British Heather Watson takes on Jule Niemeier from Germany in the first match on Center Court. Then the Italian Jannik Sinner and Carlos Alcaraz from Spain meet in the men’s tournament.
