Stephan van Baarle returns as a candidate leader of DENK. He reports this on Wednesday evening in one video on the Instagram account of the political party. Think also posted a statement about the decision on X. The decision follows a week after Van Baarle withdrew as a Kandiaat party leader for the upcoming elections. The entire party board also resigned during that period. The newly recited chairman, Tunahan Kuzu, supports the decision of Van Baarle, according to the statement.
According to Van Baarle and the group, the “massive statements from all over the country” for Van Baarle have made him reconsider his choice to withdraw as a candidate.

After the departure of DENK leader Van Baarle, the power struggle between party top and group has now been exposed
The earlier departure of Van Baarle turned out to be the result of an internal power struggle between the national administration of the party and the three -headed parliamentary group. The current party leader of DENK would have been upset behind the scenes with the board for ages, partly because he would want more participation in the composition of the list of candidates for the upcoming national elections. An additional general members’ meeting would also be blocked by the board.
Van Baarle then said that the board would have “made” his task as a party leader and would “force him” to drop the candidate leader. “The party is greater than all of us,” says Van Baarle. His two fellow MPs, Ismail El Abassi and Dogukan Ergin, supported him and insisted on the boarding of the entire board. The two also posted a video online on Friday afternoon in which they addressed the party chairman of the party: “How do you have it in your head, how do you do our political leader Stephan Van Baarle?”
After the conflict, the board boarded last weekend.
