42 years after Zoetemelk, Dutch team again wins final
ROCAMADOUR – The explosion of joy after the all-decisive time trial could almost already be heard on the Champs Élysées. Jumbo-Visma’s long-cherished dream to win the Tour de France became reality in Rocamadour. Jonas Vingegaard gave his strong performance extra power by once again selling Tadej Pogacar a big blow. He then flew into the arms of girlfriend Trine and daughter Frida, overcome with emotions. ‘Hulk’ Wout van Aert, who won the time trial, also covered his eyes to dry his tears.
