Valérie Lebérichel is responsible for global communications for Givenchy.
The French fashion house appoints Lebérichel as global vice president of communication, Givenchy announced on Linkedin on Monday. She takes over for Youssef Marquis, who was appointed Louis Vuitton’s new communications director earlier this year. Both fashion houses belong to the French luxury goods group LVMH.
Lebérichel joins Givenchy from Miu Miu. According to her Linkedin profile, she had been Communications & External Relations Director there since April 2013. However, before joining the Prada subsidiary Miu Miu, she was already employed at the LVMH Group. From November 2002 to April 2013 she was Communications Manager at Celine. Prior to that, she worked in communications for Issey Miyake in Europe.
