In 2019, Ajax was the last Dutch quarter -finalist in the Champions League. Despite two participants in the eighth finals, Feyenoord and PSV were unable to join the best eight in Europe this week. A strongly weakened Feyenoord did not go off with Internazionale (2-1 loss) and a mix of basic and spare players saved PSV’s face after the 7-1 home defeat by a deserving draw (2-2) at Arsenal.
