The hotel ‘Le 8300’ in Knokke-Heist can finally open after years of vacancy. The municipality has reached an arrangement with construction company Ghelamco, owned by entrepreneur Paul Gheysens, to resolve a persistent permit problem.
At the time, 60 additional garages were built under the hotel without the necessary permits. That construction violation has prevented the hotel from opening until now.
