Uyghur Dutch discover local politics. ‘Wow, this really is a land of opportunity’

They have been living in the Netherlands for some time, but hardly realized that politics is not something for the elite, as in China, but for everyone. A small vanguard of Uyghur Dutchmen will participate in the municipal elections in March. ‘In Dutch politics we can be the voice of the millions of powerless Uyghurs in the camps.’
