The boxing world is looking forward to the next heavyweight combination struggle. The plans for the new duel between USYK and DUBOIS have been completed.
The strong tension awaited union fight in heavyweight boxes between the Ukrainian champion Oleksandr Usyk and the British Daniel Dubois will take place on July 19 in the London Wembley Stadium. The World Cup duel around the heavyweight crown announced Usyk on Instagram.
The Usyk, who had recently won two unification duels against Tyson Fury in 23 professional fights, holds the WBA, WBC and WBO’s World Cup titles. Dubois is currently wearing the belt of the IBF association.
For Usyk it is the second meeting with dubois. In August 2023, the 38-year-old prevailed against the British in the ninth round in Breslau in Polish. “I would have had to win the first fight and was prevented by the judge’s judgment,” said Dubois: “So this time I will not make a mistake in front of my own people, in the nation stadium and in my hometown.”
Germany’s heavyweight hope AGIT Kabayel has to wait for his duel with USYK. The 32-year-old has had the title of the interim world champion of the WBC association since his co-victory against the Chinese Zhoei Zhang in February. He is entitled to a duel with the Ukrainian.
Kabayel suspects that he prefers to avoid the top opponents like Usyk. “I think it will also be that people avoid me. My style, this body hit-the fighting name Leberking has now established itself at most,” said the 32-year-old “Sport.de” and RTL/NTV.
The Bochumer, who absolutely wants to become world champion, looks confidently at a possible duel with the Ukrainian world champion, which is currently still in the distance. “I don’t know if I am his biggest nightmare.
