The rehabilitation of Till Lindemann continues. His poem volumes “in quiet nights” and “100 poems”, which his German publisher had taken from the market due to various allegations and a display in a video, are now available again in English and worldwide.
The renowned translator Fordyce, who otherwise deals with theater and performance art, took over the literary implementation of scandal poems such as “while you sleep”. Fordyce also participated in the lecture series “The Berlin Sessions” of the KW Kunsthaus (“Institute for Contemporary Art”).
In the course of the Rammstein alarm at the time in June 2023, it was said in an official message: “In the course of the current reporting, we have become aware of a porn video in which Till Lindemann celebrates sexual violence against women and in which the book ‘in silent nights’ published by Kiepenheuer & Witsch in 2013 plays a role.”
Lindemann’s position strengthens the court ruling

International perspectives on the scandal
Outside of the German-speaking area, the Rammstein scandal was perceived far less controversial anyway. Lindemann had most recently released the music video “And the Angels singing”.
