With a view to the planned meeting on Saturday in the Gulf State of Oman, the spokeswoman for the US State Department, Tammy Bruce: “These are not negotiations, that’s a meeting.” When asked by journalists, she explained that she only wanted to explore what was basically possible. “It is a contact – and no longer,” said Bruce.
