Anyone who has purchased this mineral water should check their labels carefully. Due to bacterial contamination, the manufacturer is recalling several batches. Consumers are expressly warned not to drink the water.
Raffelberger Mineral Water May Be Contaminated
Routine inspections have revealed bacterial contamination in mineral water from Raffelberger Mineralbrunnen GmbH. According to the company, this could lead to health issues. For preventive consumer protection reasons, they urgently advise against consuming the affected products.

The recall affects the “Raffelberger Medium” in 0.75-liter bottles and “Raffelberger Klassik” in 0.7-liter bottles.

Raffelberger Klassik (0.7 liters):
Currently, the recall affects only North Rhine-Westphalia. The mineral water has been sold through the online shops of Rewe and Edeka, as well as at Handelshof and various beverage retailers.
