Scienza among the biggest winners

In the course of an intermediate update, the transfer market has adapted the market values of 238 players of the English championship. The former Bremen Marvin Ducksch from Birmingham City is one of the greatest losers. Due to a minus of 3 million euros, the market value of the 31-year-old is as low as it was last estimated almost four years ago. Caspar Jander, which was moved by Nuremberg to Southampton at the end of August, cracked the 10 million mark.
The two-time national player Ducksch has hardly been able to play on the island after his 2 million change to the blues. At the beginning of the season with a calf injury, after nine -completed match days, there are only a starting fine and 111 minutes at the right foot. Ducksch, whose market value falls from 6 million to 3 million euros, is still waiting for his first goal participation. Most recently, he was not part of the matchday squad of coach Chris Davies three times in a row, who rely primarily on Jay Stansfield (+4 million to 15 million), Lyndon Dykes (market value unchanged) and Kyogo Furuhashi (-1 on 8).
Ducksch’s German teammate Phil Neumann recently no longer played a role under Davies from the start after five missions. The market value of the central defender remains undemanded in the course of the update, the ex-Hannoverian is still rated at EUR 3 million.
In contrast, midfielder Caspar Jander from FC Southampton was fully at the Saints within a very short time. Four times in a row, the 22-year-old was in the starting eleven of coach Will, the market value of the professional, which was changed in summer for EUR 12 million from Nuremberg, is increasing by 3 million euros by 3 million euros-the highest level of his career so far. Jander’s team -mate Joshua Quarshie, which the club loose from Hoffenheim for 3.5 million euros, has also established itself in the defensive center and screwed its value up for a million euros to now 4 million euros.
Furthermore, several professionals record new taxations that once earned their money in Germany (See graphic below). The former Heidenheimer Leo Scienza, with a plus of 6 million, is one of the greatest winners of the update on its transfer. The same applies to the former Bremen Josh Sargent, whose market value increases by 4 million to 20 million euros. This makes the 25 -year -old attacker, who has to bring it to five goals in 2025/26, from then on the second -value professional in the championship.
Market value Championship: Mcateer & Hackney largest winner
The biggest winner in the course of the update is the newcomer from Ipswich Town, Kasey Mcateer. The 23-year-old IRE switched from Premier League relegated Leicester to the “Tractor Boys” for EUR 13.9 million. The wing striker previously estimated to 2 million euros recorded a correspondingly high plus of EUR 10 million. Middlesbroughs Hayden Hackney was a key figure in the European Championship triumph of the English U21 national team in summer and was about to switch to Ipswich for a transfer of well over EUR 20 million. The Premier League also has some interests in the Boro owner, the value of which is increased from 12 million to EUR 20 million-the second largest plus of this update.
Championship: top talent Robinson & Monga upgraded
Two youngsters who could make a name for themselves in the league are also Southampton’s Jay Robinson and Leicesters Jeremy Monga. Robinson received his first market value of a million euros in August after he debuted in the Saints opening game. Since then, the 18-year-old has developed the status of the regular player-his market value increases to 6 million euros.
Wing player Monga was already one of the few bright spots in the relegation battle for the Foxes at the end of last season and became the second youngest player in the history of the Premier League. The 16-year-old sparked the interest of several top European clubs in the summer, but decided to sign a preliminary contract in Leicester, which in 2026 comes into force in Monga’s 17th birthday. Its market value increases from 5 million to 8 million euros.
Ipswich and Coventry under the largest cadrees
When it comes to squad values, Ipswich records the greatest increase with an increase of 19 million euros to 198 million euros. Despite his bumpy start, the relegated team remains the most valuable team of championship. This is followed by Southampton, whose squad value increases by EUR 15.7 million to 189 million euros. Coventry, trained by the English player legend Frank Lampard, launched its squad value by 15.3 million to EUR 108 million after a good start to the season.
