A young Portuguese from Eindhoven was abducted for 33 hours. And all the while this 26-year-old Pedro was heavily mistreated, humiliated and spit. It was also threatened to cut his fingers. A Eindhoven drug gang wanted to see money for the disappearance of a kilo of cocaine. The court in Den Bosch sentenced four men on Wednesday to imprisonment from 110 days to six years.
The kidnapping started when Pedro had to pay for a kilo of cocaine that was ripped by men who had introduced Pedro to the gang. The Portuguese tried to arrange money with acquaintances for a day and a half, while the gang members were driving around with him.
Mafia film, but then really
The images shown during the session were horrible. On several videos it was shown how Pedro was heavily mistreated. It looked like a mafia film, but these films are lifelike.
Eventually the police in Eindhoven arrested a white courier bus that was set up to throw someone in and cut his head off, described by the police. Inside the bus was covered with translucent plastic and there were large, extra locks on the outside of the doors.
In a bar in Eindhoven, Pedro was brought in on 27 September 2022 by members of the gang. The attendees hit and punched him and also gave head bumps. He was pushed from one to the other and used as a boxing ball. One of those present expressed a few cigarettes on Pedro’s hand.
By marrow and leg
On a video you can see a terrified Pedro that is driven into a corner by one of the suspects, Ali E., and is hit hard. Another video shows how Pedro sits at the bar and depts his eye with a cloth. Unexpectedly he is hit hard again on his head.
The worst video was made in the house of Ali E. in Hoensbroek in Limburg. It could be seen in the courtroom how a naked Pedro with his pants on his ankle gets big strokes from Mohammed A. with a metal baseball bat. The cries of Pedro go through marrow and leg.
Seriously injured
Pedro was found on the late evening of 28 September 2022 fur and blue in a flat on Vuurvlinderstraat in Eindhoven. He managed to call 112 there. Ali E. then, at the umpteenth address where he was with Pedro to arrange money, realized that it was not possible to compensate the damage of around 50,000 euros. After all, ‘only’ had been raised a few thousand euros.
Ali E. and Helper Volkan left and left Pedro heavily injured in the apartment building. Sherwin and Mohammed were outside with the white courier bus.

Kidnapbus
Thanks to a report from a resident of the flat that armed men were standing in front of the door, the police quickly went to look there. Near the flat, the white ‘Kidnapbus’ was arrested containing Sherwin W. and Mohammed A. A month and a half later Ali and Volkan were also arrested.
Mohammed A. (26) from Eindhoven received the highest punishment at seven years. He is seen by the court as the leader and the most aggressive. He abused Pedro and threatened to kill him and cut a finger. Ali E. (35) from Hoensbroek also had seven years because he was at the basis of the kidnapping and committed a lot of violence.
Punish
Lower penalties were for the driver of the Kidnapbus, Sherwin W. (31) from Eindhoven. He only came into the picture on the second day, but then came up with a prepared kidnapbus. It was threatened to take the victim to Germany to kill him there.
Volkan D. (34) from Rotterdam received the lowest punishment. It is reduced imputable due to non -congenital brain injury. He was given 110 days in prison and a year conditional. He must also be treated in a clinic.
None of the men had come to the ruling, even though that was mandatory. Mohammed A. is fleeing and was not there at the hearing. Ali E. and Sherwin W. should have immediately had to go into jail if they had been there. Volkan D. has already served his 110 days in prison in custody.
