Marius’s royal oharis have garnered criticism from the citizens. Se og hør’s royal expert Caroline Vaglen thought that Marius’ decision to prioritize other parties over his mother’s was not well thought out.

Vagle emphasizes that Mette-Marit and Haakon’s party was organized and invited by the royal couple.

– A large part of the royal family was involved in the celebration. The children of the Crown Prince couple are obvious guests in honor of their parents. It’s a bit strange that Marius couldn’t choose another night to celebrate with his friends, Vagle tells the magazine.

Vagle admits that Marius may have agreed on the matter with his family in advance. The official guest list of the party was not published either.

Vagle resents how the previous announcement implied that Marius would miss the party due to his unwellness, but the reality was different.
