The Minnesota Vikings will have to do without their quarterback Kirk Cousins for the time being in the fight for the NFL playoffs.
Cousins has tested positive for the corona virus and will therefore miss the Vikings in the game against the Green Bay Packers on Sunday (local time), as the team announced.
The Vikings quarterback had stated prior to the season that he was not vaccinated against the coronavirus and had since followed NFL rules for unvaccinated players.
The Vikings are currently with a record of 7: 8 wins and can still secure a wildcard for the playoffs in the American football league.
In order to increase their chances, the Vikings have to win their last main round game against the already qualified Packers.
