Untouchable HCAW wins by big numbers again and keeps competition at bay

There is no size on HCAW this season. The baseball players from Bussum were supreme twice this week against PhD student RCH. Danny Rombley’s men also got the job done on a visit to Heemstede. HCAW won 12-5, 6-4 and 15-0 to mark a historic run.

The team has never won so many games in a row. In 2006, HCAW recorded a 7-game winning streak. Danny Rombley’s team now has 30 points from 15 games and continues the historic start of the season.

Neptunus is six points short of HCAW and Pirates is nine points behind. The Amsterdammers were free this weekend. In the lower regions, DSS/Kinheim and Hoofddorp Pioniers exchanged pennies by snatching up points. DSS/Kinheim won 5-2 on Friday, Hoofddorp Pioniers was too strong on Saturday, 12-2 and today, DSS/Kinheim nipped the Hoofddorp team, 2-1.
