Security forces again clashed with protesters in Almaty, Kazakhstan’s largest city on Thursday. According to journalists on the spot, explosions and shots were heard in one of the central squares in the city in the afternoon. Eyewitnesses reported to the Russian news agency TASS that there have been deaths and injuries.
