The United States will reduce military support for Ukraine in the proposed defense budget for 2026. That is what the American Minister of Defense Pete Hesget told legislators in the American House of Representatives. He called the decision a “strategic reorientation”, in which the Trump government wants to “de-escalate the conflict through diplomatic efforts instead of military involvement”.
