1. FC Union Berlin reacted to the departure of Andreas Luthe (35; Kaiserslautern) and Jakob Busk (28; destination unknown) and signed a new goalkeeper in Lennart Grill. The 23-year-old, who is tied to Bayer 04 Leverkusen until 2024, is on loan from the “Werkself” for one season. Grill added: “I am really looking forward to moving to Berlin. For me, it doesn’t just mean playing for a special club. It’s also about constantly improving, integrating into the team quickly and doing my part for a successful season.”
