Nevertheless, the number of applications for the document has been increasing two years in a row.
“We are somewhat surprised that so many emergency applications have been received this year,” says a spokesperson for the KMar. They had expected to have to explain emergency documents less often this year. “Unlike now, we saw it coming during the passport peak last year.”
