The permit is subject to extensive conditions. For example, temporary construction zones must be fully restored afterwards and there is a mandatory replanting of greenery. There are also measures regarding nature and species protection, including during the breeding season.
In addition, rules apply to avoid damage to soil and water and nuisance is limited through communication obligations, a complaints register and restrictions on noise and lighting.
Additional conditions have also been imposed for each sub-project, including for beach and dune restoration on the coast, forest compensation, water management and protection of fauna and flora. With these measures, the government wants to limit the impact of Ventilus as much as possible and strictly monitor their implementation.
