According to the statement made by the Turkish Football Federation, in the match played at the Arslan Zeki Demirci Sports Complex in Antalya, Kosovo closed the first half 2-0 ahead with the goals scored by Rin Ahmeti from the penalty in the 8th minute and Lorik Mehmeti in the 20th minute.
The Crescent-Stars team reduced the difference to 1 with Ozan Demirbağ’s goal in the 51st minute of the second half. Kosovo won the match 3-1 with Leonit Gabrica scoring the net in the 89th minute.
Muhammet Akçay, TFF Board Member Responsible for National Teams, followed the match from the stands.
In the other match of the group, Armenia defeated Gibraltar 9-0.
Following these results, Kosovo was promoted to League A, while the national team remained in League B.
The crescent-star players will be eligible to play in the Elite Round if they are the group leaders in the 1st round of the 2027 UEFA European Under-19 Championship B League, which will be played in November.
