UN Security Council holds emergency meeting on violence in Congo: Belgians are advised to leave

The United Nations (UN) Security Council will hold an emergency meeting on Monday on the escalation of violence in the east of the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC). Diplomatic sources reported this to the French news agency AFP. The Foreign Affairs advises Belgians to “leave the zone temporarily”.
